TOURISM AND HOTEL MANAGEMENTMission of the ProgramThe mission of the Tourism and Hotel Management program is to educate qualified professionals who can contribute to the sustainable development of the tourism and hospitality industry at national and international levels. The program aims to equip students with managerial, operational, and analytical skills by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications, while emphasizing ethical values, social responsibility, cultural awareness, and the principle of lifelong learning. Vision of the ProgramThe vision of the Tourism and Hotel Management program is to become one of the leading departments nationally and internationally in the fields of tourism education, research, and industry collaboration, and to be recognized for graduating competent professionals who are competitive and sought after in the global tourism and hospitality sector. Purpose of the ProgramThe purpose of the Tourism and Hotel Management program is to enable students to understand and apply contemporary management theories and practices related to tourism and hospitality enterprises; to develop the ability to design effective solutions by considering ethical, social, cultural, legal, and economic factors in tourism management; to enhance communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills required in dynamic tourism environments; to foster managerial and entrepreneurial competencies; and to encourage continuous professional and personal development through the adoption of lifelong learning principles. Department FacilitiesThe Tourism and Hotel Management Department offers various academic and professional opportunities, including minor and double major programs, international student exchange and study abroad opportunities for one or two semesters, strong industry–university cooperation through internships and practical training, and the opportunity to pursue graduate programs after graduation. Career OpportunitiesGraduates of the Tourism and Hotel Management Department have broad career opportunities in both the public and private sectors of the tourism and hospitality industry. They may work in hotels, resorts, travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, event and convention organizations, destination management organizations, restaurants, and recreational facilities, as well as in tourism-related public institutions, international organizations, and academic or research-oriented careers.
