EXAMINATIONS,REGULATIONS,ASSESSMENT&GRADING
Assessment and evaluation within the English Preparatory Program are conducted based on both formative and summative assessment principles. Students’ language development is monitored throughout the level using various assessment tools. A Progress Test is administered in the middle of each level to measure ongoing achievement. At the end of the level, students are evaluated through a comprehensive Level Exam, which constitutes the written component, and a separate Speaking Test.
In addition, students receive grades from homework assignments and project work completed during the level, which contribute to the overall course grade. The assessment distribution is as follows: Level Exam 50%, Progress Test 30%, Speaking Test 10%, and Homework & Project 10%. The total score is calculated out of 100. Students who achieve a final grade below 60 are required to repeat the level.
