Primary assessment focuses on the healthy adult with key concepts related to the healthy child, adolescent and adult; the concepts of health promotion and disease prevention. Teaching in educational theory focuses on methods of instruction, communication and guidance in connection with the practice of nursing. Modernleşme ve bunun paralelinde gittikçe ivmelenen küreselleşme, güvenlik meselesinin diğer unsurlarının yanı sıra enerji güvenliği kavramının özellikle son senelerde daha fazla gündemde yer almaya başlamasına neden olmuştur. İnsanların yaşamlarını konfor içerisinde sürdürebilmeleri ve içerisinde bulundukları siyasal sistemlerin varlığını korumaları açısından enerji güvenliğinin sağlanması son derece önemli bir konuyu teşkil etmektedir. Devletlerin siyasi, ekonomik ve sosyal varlıklarını devam ettirmeleri ve bu kapsamda halklarının gerekliliklerini eksiksiz bir biçimde yerine getirmeleri işlevi göz önünde bulundurulduğunda ilgili ülkelerde tüm sistemlerin sorunsuz bir biçimde çalışması için onların ülkelerinin içerisindeki kritik altyapılarının her türlü tehlikeden korunması gerekmektedir. Söz konusu tehditler arasında terör saldırıları, siber saldırıları saymamız mümkündür. Bunlar düzenlendikleri yerlerdeki kritik altyapı sistemlerine çok ciddi zararlar vermekte olup ekonomik ve sosyal kayıplara da yol açabilmektedir. Modernleşme ile birlikte gittikçe karmaşıklaşan teknoloji ile gerçekleştirilen bu saldırıların önlenmesine dönük olarak öncelikli olarak devletler daha sonra da ilgili güç sistemlerinin idaresini gerçekleştiren şirketlerce çok kapsamlı önlemlere başvurulabilmektedir. Bahse konu çerçevede “21. Yüzyılda Tüm Boyutlarıyla Kritik Altyapı ve Tesislerin Korunması” adlı derste, herhangi bir ülkenin iç ve dış işleyişinde son derece kritik konumdaki altyapı tesislerinin eski ve yeni güvenlik tehditlerine karşı nasıl korunduğu / korunabileceği konusu hem teorik düzlemde hem de ülkesel /örgütsel bağlamlarda en iyi uygulamalar çerçevesinde ele alınacaktır. Dersin ana hedeflerinden birisi ise öğrencilerin ülkelerin ve uluslararası örgütlerin temel kritik altyapı sistemleri konusunda derinlemesine bilgi sahibi olmalarını sağlayarak bu sistemlerin nasıl korunduğunu / korunabileceği seçili vaka çalışmaları üzerinden analiz etmeleridir.

Modernization and the parallel acceleration of globalization have led to energy security, along with other aspects of security, becoming increasingly prominent in recent years. Maintaining energy security is extremely important for people to live comfortably and for the political systems they inhabit to survive. For states to maintain their political, economic, and social existence and to fully meet the needs of their people, it is necessary to protect their critical infrastructure from all kinds of threats for all systems to function smoothly. Among these threats, we can mention terrorist attacks and cyberattacks. Organized incidents of this kind cause very serious damage to critical infrastructure systems and can lead to economic and social losses. With the increasing complexity of technology brought about by modernization, states, and subsequently groups carrying out relevant power measurement management, can resort to very comprehensive summaries dedicated to preventing these attacks. The course, titled “Protecting Critical Infrastructure and Facilities in All Dimensions in the 21st Century,” will address how a country's highly critical infrastructure systems, both domestically and internationally, can be protected against past and present security threats. This will be discussed through both theoretical operations and best practices within national/organizational contexts. A key objective of the course is to analyze, through case studies, how some countries protect their fundamental critical infrastructure systems and how these systems can be protected, thereby providing knowledge about these systems within their own countries and international facilities.

The Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, with their unique characteristics in the Eurasian region, have been closely monitored not only in that vast geographical area but also by states in other parts of the world. This situation, which remains a hot topic in international relations today, is expected to continue and even intensify in the coming years. Russia and China, two of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, define their current and future relations as "UNLIMITED COOPERATION," despite their differences on various regional issues.
Based on the above framework, this course will examine the in-depth foreign, security, and economic relations between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, as well as the foreign and security policies these two great states and civilizations have pursued/could pursue towards the world beyond their borders, from a historical perspective. The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of Russia and China's international policies from a historical perspective, in light of current and potential developments, as well as to introduce them to recent academic studies published on these countries.

Pediatric Nursing and Healthcare: students will participate in the care of patients ranging from neonates to adolescents. Ders kapsamında hemşirelik bakım süreci ile bilişim teknolojilerinin entegrasyonu, bakım sürecinin her aşamasında bilişimin kullanımı ve elektronik bakım planı örnekleri incelenmektedir. Klinik karar destek sistemleri, bu sistemlerin işleyişi ve özellikle ilaç hatalarını önlemedeki rolü ele alınırken; elektronik sağlık kayıtlarının türleri, doğru kullanımı ve veri güvenliği konuları detaylı olarak işlenmektedir. Ayrıca sağlık bilgi sistemleri ve hastane bilgi yönetim sistemleri tanıtılmakta, hemşirelik sınıflama sistemleri (NANDA–NIC–NOC) arasındaki ilişki örnek hasta bakım planları üzerinden açıklanmaktadır. Dersin devamında hemşirenin bilişim alanındaki rolleri ve yetkinlikleri, kanıta dayalı bakımda bilişimin önemi, veri tabanlarının kullanımı ve klinik karar verme süreci ele alınmaktadır. Tele-sağlık, tele-hemşirelik ve mobil sağlık uygulamalarının bakımda kullanımı, hemşirelik bilişiminde etik ilkeler ve veri güvenliği ihlallerine ilişkin örnekler tartışılmaktadır. Ayrıca hemşirelikte araştırma ve kanıta dayalı bakım bağlamında bilişimin rolü ve klinik verilerin araştırmada kullanımı incelenmekte, ders gelecekte hemşirelik bilişimi ve liderlik konularının ele alınmasıyla tamamlanmaktadır. | The content of this course includes the definition of nursing informatics, the reasons for its emergence, and an examination of its development in Türkiye and around the world. The course focuses on the integration of informatics technologies into the nursing care process, including the use of informatics at each stage of care and examples of electronic nursing care plans. Clinical decision support systems are addressed with emphasis on their functioning and their role in preventing medication errors, while electronic health records are discussed in terms of their types, proper use, and data security. In addition, health information systems and hospital information management systems are introduced, and the relationships among nursing classification systems (NANDA–NIC–NOC) are explained through sample patient care plans. The course further examines the roles and competencies of nurses in the field of informatics, the importance of informatics in evidence-based nursing care, the use of databases, and the clinical decision-making process. Telehealth, telenursing, and mobile health applications used in nursing care are discussed, along with ethical principles in nursing informatics and examples of data security breaches.
